Alan John Dix FCBSFLSW is a British author, researcher, and university professor, specialising inhuman–computer interaction (HCI). He is one of the four co-authors of the university level textbookHuman–Computer Interaction.[1] Dix is the Director of the Computational Foundry atSwansea University, since May 2018.[2] He was previously a professor atLancaster University.[3]
In 2021, he was elected a Fellow of the Learned Society of Wales.[4]
