Al Majma'ah (Arabic:المجمعة) is a city and agovernorate inRiyadh Province, Saudi Arabia. It is located at around25°54′14″N45°20′44″E / 25.90389°N 45.34556°E /25.90389; 45.34556, and it is the capital of theSudair region. The city has an area of 30,000 square kilometres. The population of the town is around 70,000, while the population of the governorate as a whole is 151,877 (2022). Al-Majma'ah Governorate borders theEastern Province andAl-Qassim Province to the north,Thadig and Shaqra to the south,Rumah to the east, andAl-Ghat andAl-Zulfi to the west.
Founded in 1417CE by an immigrant from theAl-shammari tribe, Al Majma'ah is considered part of the lands and homes of theMutair tribe inNajd[2]
The city is covered in green during spring, which makes it a national destination. There are many private farms consisting mostly of palm trees, but other fruits or vegetables can grow there such as citrus or berry.
Al Majma'ah is an important stop along theNorth-South line, which is operated by TheSaudi Arabia Railways. This railway line links the city to major destinations such asRiyadh,Al-Qassim,Ḥaʼil,Al-Jawf, andQurayyat, enhancing transportation and connectivity across the region.

Al Majma'ah is home to three prominent football clubs that share the city's main stadium,Al Majma'ah Sports City. These clubs areAl-Fayha,Al-Faisaly, andAl-Mujazzal. Al-Fayha and Al-Faisaly are particularly renowned for their strong home performances and have gained a reputation for being tough opponents to top teams in theSaudi Pro League. Both clubs have made significant history by winning the prestigiousKing's Cup, breaking the longstanding monopoly of the country's larger clubs in the competition. Their successes have solidified their place in Saudi football, highlighting Al Majma'ah as a city of competitive football talent.
