Al Ater was an American politician inLouisiana. He served in theLouisiana House of Representatives and asLouisiana Secretary of State.
He served in the Louisiana House from 1984 until 1992.[1] He was a Democrat.[2] He wasLouisiana's Secretary of State duringHurricane Katrina and its aftermath.[3] He had a wife Susie and three children.[1]
