Al-Tuwayni (Arabic:التوينة, also spelledTweini) is a village in northernSyria, located in theQalaat al-Madiq Subdistrict of theSuqaylabiyah District inHama Governorate. According to theSyria Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), al-Tuwanyi had a population of 2,304 in the 2004 census.[1] Its inhabitants are predominantlySunni Muslims.[2]
