Al-Mustafa Army in Iraq (Arabic:جيش المصطفى في العراق,romanizedJaysh al-Muṣṭafá fī al-ʻIrāq) was an Iraqi insurgent group during theIraqi insurgency.

In March 2005, Al-Mustafa Army (Under the name ofAl-Qaeda in Iraq) claimed responsibility for a car bombing in the neighborhood ofBab al-Mu’adham, Iraq.[2] Then in April 2008, openly called war on theIslamic State of Iraq after some back and forth with the organization.[3] In June 2009, Al-Mustafa threatenedObama after making a speech inEgypt.[4]
