Akole Assembly constituency is one of the seats inMaharashtra Legislative Assembly inIndia.[1] It is a segment ofShirdi Lok Sabha seat. The borders of Akole Assembly constituency were changed after the constituency map of India was redrawn in 2008.[2]
Akole (constituency number 216) is one of the twelve Vidhan Sabha constituencies located in theAhmednagar district. It comprises part of Sangamner tehsil and the entire Akole tehsil of the district.[1]
Akole is part of theShirdi Lok Sabha constituency along with five other Vidhan Sabha segments in this district, namelySangamner,Shirdi,Kopargaon,Shrirampur andNevasa. It is reserved for the candidates belonging to theScheduled tribes.[1]
