Akbar Khamiso Khan (Sindhi:اڪبر خميسو خان) is analghoza player from theSindh province ofPakistan.[1][2]

Early life

Khan was born on February 02 1976 inHyderabad[3][4] to renowned alghoza playerKhamiso Khan.

Career

Khan has performed both domestically and internationally. One of his most notable performances was at the Golden Jubilee Celebrations ofOIC inSaudi Arabia.[5] He plays tunes from all the provinces of Pakistan.[6]

Awards

Khan won theTamgha-e-Imtiaz Award by theGovernment of Pakistan in 2010.[7][8]
