For the city in Thrace, seeAianteion (Thrace).

Aianteion (Ancient Greek:Αἰάντειον) was a town inancient Troad.[1] Its name is translated as "ofAjax"[2]

Its site is located nearKumkale,Asiatic Turkey.[1][3]
