Ahmed Mostafa Mohamed Sayed (Arabic:أحمد مصطفى محمد سيد; born 10 January 1996) commonly known asZizo (Arabic:زيزو), is an Egyptian professionalfootballer who plays as awinger forEgyptian Premier League clubAl Ahly and theEgypt national team.
Zizo made hisBelgian Pro League debut at 29 March 2014 againstWaasland-Beveren in a 0–2 away win in the2013–14 season, he replacedSouleymane Diomandé after 50 minutes.[2] He went onto make 72 appearances and score 49 goals in his first four seasons between 2014 and 2017 withLierse.[3] In January 2017, Sayed joinedPrimeira Liga sideNacional on loan, with an option to buy, for the rest of the 2016–17 season.[4]
In January 2019, Zizo returned to Egypt, signing forZamalek, after one and a half seasons atMoreirense.[5] He achieved with the White Castle theEgyptian Premier League twice in (2020–21,2021–22), theEgypt Cup in (2018–19,2020–21,2024–25), and theEgyptian Super Cup once in (2019–20). On the continental level, Zizo won with Zamalek theCAF Confederation Cup twice in (2018–19,2023–24), and theCAF Super Cup twice in (2020,2024).
On 6 June 2025, it was officially announced that Zizo would joinAl Ahly on a four-year deal, following the expiration of his contract withZamalek.[6] He became eligible to compete with Al Ahly in the2025 FIFA Club World Cup. Furious fans of his previous club named himThe Hungry (Arabic:الجعان), as he left his home club who actually created his stardom in football,[7] and went for Zamalek's rival for a higher contract.[8][9]
On 4 December 2021, Zizo scored his first goal with theEgyptian national team during a group stage match againstSudan in the2021 FIFA Arab Cup.[10]
He was married on 4 August 2019, and has one daughter.[11]
