Ahmed Hachani (Arabic:أحمد الحشاني,romanized: Aḥmad al-Ḥašānī; born 4 October 1956)[1] is a Tunisian politician. He served asPrime Minister of Tunisia from 1 August 2023 to 7 August 2024.
On 1 August 2023, Hachani was appointed by PresidentKais Saied to form the country's new government. He replacedNajla Bouden who was dismissed that day.[3][4]
On 7 August 2024, Hachani was dismissed as prime minister by President Saied and was replaced by social affairs ministerKamel Madouri. No reason was immediately given.[5]
