RavAha bar Jacob (or R.Aha bar Ya'akov;Hebrew:רבי אחא בר יעקב) was aBabylonian rabbi of the third and fourth generations ofAmoraim.

He was one of the disciples ofRav Huna.[1] He was also one of the prominentJewish leaders ofPapunia.[2] In theTalmud it is said that he was a man of great piety and a great scholar.[3]
