It was founded byShri Swami Advaitanand Ji Maharaj (1846–1919) who is also known as Paramhans Dyal Ji Maharaj. He declaredSwami Swarupanand Ji Maharaj ( also known as Shri Nangli Niwasi Bhagwan Ji) as his spiritual successor.
