Adrien Rene Moerman (born 7 August 1988) is a French professionalbasketball player who last played for theTaipei Taishin Mars of theTaiwan Professional Basketball League (TPBL). He was also a member of the seniorFrench national team.
Moerman was born inFontenay-aux-Roses. He played youth age basketball with the French clubsLevallois Sporting Club Basket, from 2001 to 2003, andChorale Roanne Basket, from 2003 to 2005.[citation needed]
Moerman began his pro career in 2005, with the senior men's team ofChorale Roanne Basket. He played for Roanne for two seasons. For the 2007–08 season, he signed withJSF Nanterre of theFrench 2nd Division. From 2008 to 2011, he played with the French clubOrléans Loiret Basket. In July 2011, he signed with the French clubSLUC Nancy Basket.[1]
In June 2012, he signed a three-year deal withBilbao Basket of the SpanishLiga ACB.[2] After one season with the club, he left Bilbao. In June 2013, he returned to France, and signed a two-year deal withLimoges CSP.[3] With Limoges, he won the2013–14 French Pro A season's championship. In the2014–15 season, Moerman was named theleague MVP of theFrench Pro League.[4]
In July 2015, he signed with theTurkish Super League clubBanvit.[5] After one season, he parted ways with Banvit.[6] On 14 July 2016, he signed a 1+1 deal with the Turkish clubDarüşşafaka Doğuş.[7] The Turkish team opted out of their deal on 24 June 2017.[8]
On 12 July 2017, he signed with the Spanish clubFC Barcelona Lassa, for the 2017–18 season.[9]
On 1 July 2018, Moerman signed a two year (1+1) deal with the Turkish clubAnadolu Efes.[10] He averaged 6.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game during the 2020–21 season. On 18 June 2021, Moerman renewed his contract with the Turkish club.[11] On 29 June 2022, Moerman officially parted ways with the Turkish club after four seasons.
On July 22, 2022, he signed a one year deal withAS Monaco Basket.[12]
On January 26, 2023, he signed withZenit Saint Petersburg.[13]
On January 22, 2025, Moerman signed with theTaipei Taishin Mars of theTaiwan Professional Basketball League (TPBL).[14]

Moerman was a member of the junior national basketball teams of France. With France's junior national teams, he won gold medals at the2004 FIBA Europe Under-16 Championship, and the2006 FIBA Europe Under-18 Championship. He also won the bronze medal at the2007 FIBA Under-19 World Cup.
Moerman has also been a member of the seniorFrench national team. He played with France at the2016 Manila FIBA World Olympic Qualifying Tournament.
