Adrian White (born 1972) is an Irish retiredhurler. At club level, he played withBarryroe, divisional sideCarbery, and also lined out at inter-county level with variousCork teams.

Playing career

White played all grades of hurling andGaelic football at club level withBarryroe. He won several divisional titles in the minor and under-21 grades before progressing to adult level. Between 1994 and 2007, White was part of threeWest Cork JAHC title-winning teams. He added aCork JAHC medal to his collection in 2007 after a 2–19 to 2–13 defeat ofCharleville in thefinal.[1][2] White also earned selection forCarbery and won aCork SHC medal after lining out with the team in their 3–13 to 3–06 win overMidleton in the1996 final.[3][4]

At inter-county level, White first appeared forCork at minor level in 1990. He won aMunster MHC medal that year, but later faced defeat byKilkenny in the1990 All-Ireland minor final.[5] White later progressed to under-21 level and won aMunster U21HC medal after Cork's 1-18 to 3-09 win overLimerick in 1993.[6]

White also progressed to thesenior team and made a number of appearances in theNational Hurling League.[7] He also won twoMunster JHC medals before ending his inter-county career by collecting anAll-Ireland JHC medal at corner-back in 1994.[8]

Personal life

His sons,Seán andMark White, have played Gaelic football with theCork senior football team.[9]
