Adrian O. Cambriani (birth registered first ¼ 1962[3]) is a Welsh formerrugby union, and professionalrugby league footballer who played in the 1980s, andcoached rugby union in the 2000s. He played club level rugby union (RU) forSwansea RFC, and representative level rugby league (RL) forWales, and at club level forFulham RLFC andHull FC, as awing, and coached club level rugby union (RU) forPenlan RFC.[4]
Adrian Cambriani was born inSwansea,West Glamorgan, Wales.
Cambriani started his career as arugby union player withSwansea RFC. In 1980, at the age of 18, he switched torugby league, joining the newly formedFulham for a signing-on fee of £16,000 (based on increases in average earnings, this would be approximately £90,210 in 2015).[5][1] He made his début in Fulham's first league game, and became the club's first try scorer with two tries in a 24–5 victory overWigan.[6]
