Adrian Burgess (born 18 July 1969)[1] is a motorsport administrator and team manager from Britain.

Career

After working his way through theFormula Three ranks, Burgess became a number one mechanic atBowman Racing, engineeringDavid Brabham to the 1989 title. In 1991 he joinedMcLaren working on itsFormula One program. In 1999, he returned to Formula Three withCarlin Motorsport.[2] In 2005 he returned to Formula One withJordan Grand Prix as sporting director.[3][4][5]

In 2007 Burgress emigrated to Australia to manageV8 Supercars teamDick Johnson Racing, moving toTriple Eight Race Engineering in 2011, theHolden Racing Team in 2014 andTekno Autosports in 2018.[2][3][6][7][8]

In December 2018, Burgess became theSupercars Championship's head of motorsport.[9] In 2024 Burgess will become team principal atTeam 18.[10]
