Adrián de la Fuente Barquilla (born 26 February 1999), sometimes known asDela, is a Spanishfootballer who plays as acentral defender forLevante UD.

Club career

Born inEl Escorial,Community of Madrid, de la Fuente joinedReal Madrid'sLa Fábrica in 2007, fromCU Collado Villalba. On 10 January 2018, while still a youth, he signed a professional contract until 2022.[1]

Promoted tothe reserves inSegunda División B ahead of the2018–19 season, de la Fuente made his senior debut on 26 August 2018, starting in a 2–0 home win overUD Las Palmas Atlético.[2] Initially a regular starter inSantiago Solari's side,[3] he lost his starting spot after the appointment ofRaúl as manager.

On 14 September 2020, de la Fuente moved to anotherreserve team, after signing a three-year contract withVillarreal CF B also in the third division.[4] He made hisfirst team debut on 30 November of the following year, starting in a 8–0 away routing ofVictoria CF, forthe season'sCopa del Rey.[5]

De la Fuente made his professional debut with the B-side on 14 August 2022, starting in a 2–0 away win overRacing de Santander.[6] He scored his first professional goal on 3 September, netting the B's opener in a 3–0 home win overCD Mirandés.

On 29 June 2023, de la Fuente signed a three-year contract with fellow second division sideLevante UD.[7]
