Adrián Sardinero Corpa (born 13 October 1990) is a Spanish professionalfootballer who plays as awinger forSuper League Kerala clubKannur Warriors.

Club career

Sardinero was born inLeganés,Madrid. After emerging through localGetafe CF's youth ranks,[2] he made his senior debut in 2008, helping theB team to promote toSegunda División B for the first time ever in hissecond year.

On 30 September 2010, one month before his 20th birthday, Sardinero made his debut for the main squad, playing 20 minutes in a 2–0 away loss againstBSC Young Boys in thegroup stage of theUEFA Europa League.[3] One month later, in a home fixture against the sameSwiss opponent – in the same competition – he scored the game's only goal, all this before having appeared inLa Liga for the club.[4]

Sardinero scored his only Spanish top-flight goal on 2 April 2011, closing the 2–4 home defeat toValencia CF after coming on as asubstitute forBorja Fernández midway through the second half.[5] For the2011–12 season, both he and teammateAlberto Escassi were loaned toSegunda División sideHércules CF.[6]

On 10 July 2012, Sardinero (and Escassi) signed permanently with Hércules, penning a three-year contract.[7] From 2014 and over six seasons, after theirrelegation from the second tier, he competed in theCypriot First Division.[8][9][10]

Sardinero joinedOFI Crete F.C. of theSuper League Greece on 22 June 2020, on a two-year contract.[11] The 30-year-old switched clubs and countries one year later, agreeing to a two-year deal atPerth Glory FC in theA-League.[12]
