Adrián Martín Cardona (born 10 October 1982 inLas Palmas,Canary Islands) is a Spanish formerfootballer who played as amidfielder.
After first appearing as a professional in the2003–04 season withUD Las Palmas inSegunda División, Martín switched toSegunda División B,achieving promotion withReal Madrid's reservesReal Madrid Castilla. On 6 December 2005 he played his first and only official game with the latter's first team, featuring the second half of a 1–2 away loss againstOlympiacos F.C. forthe campaign'sUEFA Champions League after coming on as asubstitute for anothercantera product,Javier Balboa.[1]
From2006 to2008, Martín had second level stints withReal Murcia andXerez CD (the latter on loan), where he was rarely used. In July 2008 he signed withLevante UD also in that tier,[2] and subsequently resumed his career in division three.
