Shihabuddin Sharaful-udaba Sabir (Persian: شهابالدین شرفالادبا صابر) known asAdib Sabir (ادیب صابر), was a 12th-centuryPersian[1]poet. Originating fromTermedh, he was employed in the court ofSultan Sanjar.
He is said to have also been used by the Sultan as aspy against the Sultan's enemies, who eventually drowned him in theOxus in 1143AD.
