TheAdeona orAdeonian family (FIN:505) is a largeasteroid family that formed from theparent body145 Adeona.[1] Itsspectral type is that of a carbonaceousC-type, with currently 2,236asteroids identified as family members.[2]: 23 Based uponsimulation studies, the Adeonian family is believed to be no more than 600 million years old, compared to a typical asteroid family age of 1–2 billion years.[3]
