TheAct of Uniformity Amendment Act 1872 (35 & 36 Vict. c. 35), sometimes called theShortened Services Act, was anact of theParliament of the United Kingdom that amended some of the provisions of the EnglishAct of Uniformity 1662 (14 Cha. 2. c. 4).
It allowed certain modifications[2]
The whole act was repealed by section 6(3) of, and schedule 2 to, theChurch of England (Worship and Doctrine) Measure 1974 (1974, No. 3).
