TheAbu Khadra Mosque (Arabic:مسجد أبوخضرة) was amosque located in theSabra neighborhood ofGaza City, in theState of Palestine.[1] Prior to its destruction byIsraeli forces in 2012,[2] the mosque had one minaret and two domes.
The former mosque was located 1,660 kilometres (1,030 mi) fromMecca.[3]
Palestinian journalist Moaz al-Amour was shot working near it.[citation needed]
