Mohamed Sheriff Abdul Wazeeth is aSri Lankan politician. He was nominated as aMember of Parliament from theNational list on 26 June 2025 by theSri Lanka Muslim Congress, replacingM. S. Naleem who had earlier resigned from his seat on 14 March.[1][2]
His appointment was confirmed by theElection Commission on 3 July 2025[3][4][5] and was sworn in on 8 July.[6][7][8]
Wazeeth is a former chairman of thePothuvil Pradeshiya Sabha in theAmpara District.[9]
