Abdisalam Bashiir Abdisalam (Somali:Cabdisalaan Bashiir Cabdisalaan,Arabic:عبدالسلام بشير عبدالسلام) is aSomali Swedish politician. He is the incumbentMayor ofBosaso, the commercial and cultural capital of the autonomousPuntland region in northeasternSomalia. On September 6, 2018, District local Council unanimously voted in the favour of Abdisalam to lead the city over five years ahead.[1][2] He previously was Mayor ofWaiye District,Puntland. He hails from theDishiishe sub-clan of theDarod.
