Abashiri (網走郡,Abashiri-gun) is adistrict located inOkhotsk Subprefecture,Hokkaido,Japan.^[1]

As of April 2025, the district has an estimatedpopulation of 31,750^[1] and apopulation density of 25.37 persons per km² in 2004. The total area is 1,498.58 km².

Memanbetsu Airport is located in the town ofŌzora; the airport was located in the town ofMemanbetsu prior to the town's 2006 merger into the town of Ōzora.
