AL-37350A, also known as4,5-dihydropyrano-α-methyltryptamine (4,5-DHP-AMT), is aserotonin receptor agonist andtricyclictryptaminederivative related to thepsychedelic tryptamine5-MeO-AMT.[1][2] It acts as apotent andselectiveagonist for theserotoninreceptor5-HT2A, with aKi of 2.0 nM, and moderate selectivity over the related 5-HT2B and 5-HT2C receptors.[1][2] The drug has been shown to haveocular hypotensive activity inanimal models, suggesting it may be useful for the treatment ofglaucoma.[2] AL-37350A was first described in thescientific literature by Jesse May and colleagues in 2003.[1][2]
