AALBC.com, theAfrican American Literature Book Club, is a website dedicated tobooks and film by and aboutAfrican Americans and people of African descent, with content also aimed atAfrican-American bookstores.[1][2] AALBC.com publishes book and film reviews, author profiles, resources for writers and related articles. Launched in 1998, AALBC was founded by Troy Johnson.[3][4] It targets primarily amiddle-aged African-American femaledemographic.[5] AALBC previously sold books through theAmazon.comaffiliate program, and then started to operate its ownwarehousing and distribution program.[6]
