A-IX-2 (orhexal) is a Russianexplosive used in modernRussian military shells. It consists of 73%RDX with 23%aluminium powder,phlegmatized with 4%wax.[1] Itsrelative effectiveness factor is 1.54.[2]
It has been in use by theRed Army sinceWWII.
