Due to theCOVID-19 pandemic, the2021 Asian Le Mans Series season was run entirely in theUnited Arab Emirates. On January 13, 2021, the schedule was revised withDubai Autodrome added with a double-header weekend.[1] This was done to reduceisolation times due totravel restrictions in the UAE.[2] The race has remained on the calendar since then and has been run twice perAsian Le Mans Series season for all but one year.
