4-HO-MALT, also known as4-hydroxy-N-methyl-N-allyltryptamine or asmaltocin, is atryptaminederivative related to4-HO-DALT (dalocin) which has been sold as adesigner drug, first being detected in Slovenia in 2021.[1][2]

4-HO-MALT acts as anagonist of theserotonin5-HT2A,5-HT2B, and5-HT2C receptors.[4] It also interacts with otherserotonin receptors. The drug produces thehead-twitch response, a behavioral proxy ofpsychedelic effects, in rodents.[4]
