329 Svea is anasteroid from theasteroid belt and the namesake of the smallSvea family, approximately 81 kilometers (50 miles) in diameter. TheC-type asteroid and is probably composed ofcarbonaceous material.[4]

It was discovered byMax Wolf on 21 March 1892 inHeidelberg.[5]

Thelight curve of 329 Svea shows a periodicity of22.6 ± 0.01 hours, during which time the brightness of the object varies by0.10 ± 0.03 in magnitude.[3]
