2C-TFE, also known as4-(2,2,2-trifluoroethyl)-2,5-dimethoxyphenethylamine, is a lesser-knownpsychedelic drug of thephenethylamine and2C families related to2C-E and2C-TFM.[2][1] It was first synthesised byDaniel Trachsel, and is reportedly a potent psychedelic with an active dose in the 5 to 15 mg rangeorally, and a longduration of 12 to 24 hours.[2][1]: 769–771 2C-TFE is acontrolled substance inCanada under phenethylamine blanket-ban language.[3]
