20 All-Time Greatest Hits! is acompilation album byJames Brown containing 20 of his most famous recordings. Released byPolydor in 1991 as a single-disc alternative to theStar Time four-CDbox set, it features songs from the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s. Sixteen of the songs from the album had previously topped the USR&B charts. The album itself peaked at number 99 on theR&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart after its release. Europe and the UK received an alternate release to promoteStar Time,Sex Machine: The Very Best of James Brown.

In 2003, it was ranked #414 onRolling Stone magazine's list of the500 greatest albums of all time.[3]
