The2026 United States Senate election inWyoming will be held on November 3, 2026, to elect a member of theUnited States Senate to represent the state ofWyoming.Primary elections will be held on August 18, 2026. One-termRepublican SenatorCynthia Lummis waselected in 2020 with 72.8% of the vote.[1] She has expressed interest for re-election.[2]
Wyoming is considered to be a deeplyred state at the federal and state levels, withDonald Trump overwhelmingly winning the state in2024 by more than 45 points.[3]Republicans control both houses of theWyoming Legislature with large supermajorities, the state’s entire congressional delegation, and all statewide executive offices. Wyoming has been represented in the U.S. Senate exclusively by Republicans since 1977. Cynthia Lummis was first elected in2020, defeatingMerav Ben-David by 46 percentage points to succeed longtime incumbent SenatorMike Enzi, who opted to retire.[4][5] Wyoming is unique in its status as the"reddest" state in the entirety of the nation as it also is the least-populated state in the country.[6] Lummis raised $500,000 for her re-election bid in Q2 of 2025.[7]
