The2026 New York State Comptroller election will take place on November 3, 2026, to elect thestate comptroller of New York. IncumbentDemocratThomas DiNapoli is seeking re-election to a fifth full term. It will be held alongside elections forgovernor,attorney general,state assembly,state senate, andUnited States representatives.

  1. ^The New York Working Families Party declined to endorse any candidate despite previously nominating DiNapoli for over two decades. Instead, the party have nominated a "placeholder candidate" for their ballot line, who will later be replaced by whichever candidate wins the Democratic nomination.[12]
