The2026 New Mexico gubernatorial election will take place on November 3, 2026, to elect the nextgovernor andlieutenant governor ofNew Mexico. The primary elections will take place on June 2, 2026.[1] Due to term limits, incumbentDemocratic GovernorMichelle Lujan Grisham cannot run for reelection.
