The2025 UEFA Super Cup was the 50th edition of theUEFA Super Cup, an annualfootball match organised byUEFA and contested by the reigning champions of the top two European club competitions, theUEFA Champions League and theUEFA Europa League. It was played at theStadio Friuli inUdine, Italy, on 13 August 2025.[5] It was contested by French clubParis Saint-Germain, winners of the2024–25 UEFA Champions League, and English clubTottenham Hotspur, winners of the2024–25 UEFA Europa League.
Paris Saint-Germain won the match 4–3 onpenalties, following a 2–2 draw after 90 minutes, for their first UEFA Super Cup title.[6] In doing so, they became the first French club to win the competition. Tottenham became the first club ever to lead by two goals without winning the competition.

TheStadio Friuli inUdine, Italy, was appointed as host stadium by theUEFA Executive Committee during their meeting inLausanne, Switzerland, on 16 December 2024.[7]
In the 39th minute,Micky van de Ven put Tottenham Hotspur into the lead with close range finish afterLucas Chevalier had tippedJoão Palhinha's effort onto the crossbar. It was 2–0 in the 48th minute whenCristian Romero scored with a downward header from the left after a free-kick fromPedro Porro which went into the right of the net past Lucas Chevalier who had got both hands to it.[8] With five minutes left,Lee Kang-in got a goal back for Paris Saint-Germain with a low shot from 20 yards into the right corner of the net, and in the fourth minute of added timeGonçalo Ramos got the equaliser when he headed the ball into the net from close range after a cross fromOusmane Dembélé on the right. The match finished 2–2 and went straight to a penalty shoot-out.Nuno Mendes scored the winning penalty to give the trophy to Paris Saint-Germain for the first time, 4–3 onpenalties.[9]
The Champions League winners were designated as the "home" team for administrative purposes.
