The2025–26 season is the 138th season in the history ofBarnet Football Club and their first back season in theEnglish Football League,League Two since the2017–18 season following their promotion from theNational League in thepreceding season. In addition to thedomestic league, the club will also participate in theFA Cup, theEFL Cup, and theEFL Trophy.

Pre-season and friendlies

On 22 May, Barnet announced their first pre-season friendly, againstWycombe Wanderers.[44] A day later, a trip to faceBoreham Wood was also added.[45] A week later, a trip to faceHitchin Town was added.[46] A fourth and fifth pre-season friendly was later confirmed againstHemel Hempstead Town andLeyton Orient.[47][48] A sixth friendly was also confirmed againstCrystal Palace U21.[49]
