The2024 Utah State Aggies football team represented theUtah State University in theMountain West Conference during the2024 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Aggies were led by interim head coachNate Dreiling in his first year with the program. The Aggies played their home games atMaverik Stadium, located inLogan, Utah.

Coaching changes

On July 2, 2024, Utah State announced that it intended to fire head coachBlake Anderson following an internal investigation; Anderson was formally fired on July 18.^[1]^[2] Anderson was dismissed due to allegedly being non-compliant with the university'sTitle IX policies stemming from an incident that occurred in spring 2023.^[3] Defensive coordinatorNate Dreiling was named the Aggies' interim head coach.^[4]

The Mountain West's preseason prediction poll was released on July 10, 2024. Utah State was predicted to finish in seventh place in the conference.^[5]
