On May 23, 2024, theReform Party of the United States of America selectedRobert F. Kennedy Jr. as its 2024 nominee forPresident of the United States at its convention.[1][2][3][4] Kennedy withdrew his candidacy on August 23, 2024, and was removed as the Reform Party's presidential nominee.[5]

The Reform Party of Florida regained its ballot access in June 2024, giving Kennedy and his vice presidential nominee,Nicole Shanahan, a spot on theFlorida presidential ballot.[6] There was little opposition to the nomination, with the only objection coming from a group of self-described "Reform Party activists" requesting another convention.[7]
