The2024 Maryland Democratic presidential primary took place on May 14, 2024, as part of theDemocratic Party primaries for the2024 presidential election. 118 delegates to theDemocratic National Convention will be allocated to presidential candidates.[1]

IncumbentPresidentJoe Biden announced hisbid for a second term on April 25, 2023.[2]Dean Phillips, who suspended his primary campaign on March 6, 2024, andMarianne Williamson were the only other candidates on the ballot.[3] Joe Biden won in a landslide, with more than 87 percent of the vote. Uncommitted received 9.8 percent of the vote.[4]
