The2024 season was theJacksonville Jaguars' 30th in theNational Football League (NFL), their fourth and final full season under the leadership ofgeneral managerTrent Baalke and their third and final underhead coachDoug Pederson. The Jaguars failed to improve on their 9–8 record from the previous two seasons after a Week 10 loss to theMinnesota Vikings dropped them to 2–8, and a loss to theDetroit Lions the following week made the Jaguars the first team to secure a losing record in 2024, suffering their first losing season since2021. The Jaguars were eliminated from playoff contention after theDenver Broncos defeated theCleveland Browns in Week 13.

On January 6, 2025, the Jaguars fired head coachDoug Pederson who finished his tenure in Jacksonville with a 22–29 record.[1] Weeks later, on January 22, 2025, general managerTrent Baalke was also fired. Baalke had a 25–43 record with the team.[2]
