The2024 Hawaii Democratic presidential caucuses took place on March 6, 2024, as part of theDemocratic Party primaries for the2024 presidential election.[1] 31 delegates to theDemocratic National Convention were allocated to presidential candidates.[2]
Biden won the vote. "Uncommitted" won almost 30% of the vote, with nearly 500 votes and seven delegates.[3] It was noted there was no specificuncommitted movement.[4] As of May 2024, by percentage of the popular vote, Biden only performed worse inAmerican Samoa, which was won byJason Palmer andNew Hampshire, where Biden was not technically on the ballot, during the 2024 primaries.
The party initially planned to hold avote by mail primary, but the expenses proved too much. Though the party held a primary in 2020, it chose to hold caucuses in 2024.[1]
