The2024 Copa del Rey final was a football match to decide the winners of the2023–24 Copa del Rey, the 122nd edition of Spain'sprimary football cup (including two seasons where two rival editions were played). The match was played on 6 April 2024 atEstadio de La Cartuja inSeville betweenAthletic Bilbao andMallorca.[4]

Mallorca played in their first final since their only victory in2003, having lost twice prior.[5] This was Athletic Bilbao's 40th final,[note 1] having last appeared in the final in2021, and its last victory was in1984.[6][7][8]

Following a 1–1 draw afterextra time, Athletic Bilbao won 4–2 onpenalties to secure a 24th[note 1] Copa del Rey title, ending a 40-year major trophy drought.[9][10]
