The2024 California Democratic presidential primary took place on March 5, 2024, as part of theDemocratic Party primaries for the2024 presidential election. 497 delegates to theDemocratic National Convention were allocated to presidential candidates.[1] The contest was held onSuper Tuesday alongside primaries in 14 other states andterritories. Biden won the primary in a landslide. Marianne Williamson received 4.1 percent of the vote, and Congressman Dean Phillips received 2.8 percent of the vote.[2]
