The2024–25 season was the 55th season in the history ofParis Saint-Germain, and the club's 51st consecutive season in theFrench top flight. The club participated inLigue 1, theCoupe de France, theTrophée des Champions, theUEFA Champions League, and the newly expandedFIFA Club World Cup for the first time.
This was the club's first season since2016–17 without record goalscorerKylian Mbappé, who left the Parisian side to join European championsReal Madrid, and the first since2014–15 withoutLayvin Kurzawa, who also departed after his contract expired.
PSG achieved their best season in club history, securing the Ligue 1 and Coupe de France titles before defeatingInter Milan by a record5–0 scoreline to become the second team from France to win the Champions League–afterMarseille in1993–as well as the first French side to win acontinental treble.[1]
