The2023 Rolex Shanghai Masters was atennis tournament played on outdoorhard courts. It was the 12th edition of theShanghai ATP Masters 1000, classified as anATP Masters 1000 event on the2023 ATP Tour. It took place atQizhong Forest Sports City Arena inShanghai, China from 4 to 15 October 2023. This was the first edition of the Shanghai Masters held since 2019, as the intervening editions were canceled due to theCOVID-19 pandemic in China.[1] It was also the first year that the main singles draw was expanded to 96 players from 56.[2]
