The2023 Motorcycle Grand Prix of the Americas (officially known as theRed Bull Grand Prix of the Americas) was the third round of the2023 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. It was held at theCircuit of the Americas inAustin, Texas on April 16, 2023.

MotoGP Championship standings before the race

After starting off the season with a third place finish atPortuguese GP,[1]Marco Bezzecchi came in second for the sprint race and won the Grand Prix race at theArgentina GP.[2] This gave him a 9 point lead over his compatriotFrancesco Bagnaia and a lead in the MotoGP standings with Bezzecchi having 50 points.[3]
