Sinn Féin

The2023 election toFermanagh and Omagh District Council was held on 18 May 2023, alongside otherlocal elections in Northern Ireland, two weeks afterlocal elections in England.[1] The Northern Ireland elections were delayed by 2 weeks to avoid overlapping with thecoronation of King Charles III.[2]

Voters returned 40 members to the council viaSingle Transferable Vote.[3] In the elections,Sinn Féin took control of the council fromno overall control.[4]
